I'm a complete beginner with little knowledge about programming. What sparked my interest in programming were those AOL proggies a while back. I tried and tried to learn visual basic 3.0 but could not get it. I don't know if it's a gift sent from God but I sure as heck did not receive it. I'm majoring in computer sciece right now.

Recommend me something good!
 
I read a couple but the one's I liked were

Beginning VB.Net - Wrox Press
Professional VB.Net - Wrox Press


Since Wrox went out of business they might be hard to find but they were what helped me the most.
