Recommend me a good sub $150 Laser Printer

I've owned 3 printers in my 13 years, an Apple LaserWriter 300 (THIS IS THE TOYOTA CAMRY/ABRAM TANK of printers), two Epson Stylus printers, 560C and my all-in-one CX3200. My 560C died within 6 months of "light" use, and my current 3200CX is POS, the very first month I started to get a red light saying maintenance required (but everything worked fine). Recently this POS crapped out of me and stopped printing completely, and TODAY I run a test print and it works. Fvck this unreliable POS.

Ok so whats a good sub $150 laser printer? I was thinking about something HP.

I have the HP 1020 laser printer and it's been great the six months I've had it. I've put over two reams of paper through it so far and it's still running on the initial starter toner cartridge. I just looked and you can get it at newegg for just over 100 bucks with 13.99 shipping. That's a heck of a deal. The best part is, when you do run out of toner, the cartridges are around 60 bucks but should last about twice as long as the starter. I'd strongly recommend this gem!

I recommend doing what I just did recently. Look on Ebay for a Laserjet 4000/4050 series. You can usually get them for between 150-200 bucks and they are bullet proof. We have a number of them at work with over 1.5 million pages on them. The only thing you really need to change on them are the rollers every 200k pages. A roller kit goes for about $45 and can be found anywhere online.

I picked mine up for $155 plus shipping and it only had 140k pages on it. It prints beautifully and included a duplexer. While these are 6-7 years old now they still print some 16ppm easily.
