im bored, my internet doesnt really allow for online game play, despite being a 2mb line (ADSL sucks)
ive played/have.....

FEAR
CMR5
Serious Sam 2

CnC Generals/zero hour

BF2

some of them are better online, but its pointless on this connection, games like FEAR, Q4, HL2 were good, but i dont feel the need for a replay

NSFMW is good if i just want a blast round in my Carrera GT

currently playing CMR5 and SSII but they are abit boring.

What type of game? Looks like most of the games you mentioned are FPS games and I, personally, don't think that genre lends itself all too well to single player (when compared to RPGs/RTSs at least). But if you're an FPSer that's fine too, I'd recommend the FPS/RPG hybrids, they always got me hooked for single player: Deus Ex 1 + 2, System Shock 1 + 2, damn there are more of these but I just can't think of 'em at the moment. I noticed you don't have HL or any of its expansions up there (even tho it may be understood since you have HL2?). Other games I'd highly recommend if you like single player are story based RPGs (not the hack 'n slash a la Diablo games) like Baldur's Gate 1 + 2 and its expansions as well as Planescape Torment .. both games are getting pretty dated by now - almost a decade. Oldies but goodies! Black and White 1 + 2 are great single player time wasters too. Can also try the Vampire the Masquerade Games - Redemption and Bloodlines, both are a bit different and sorta FPS/RPG hybrids but they're pretty neat.

starcraft vs computers :D

i like CoD2 in single player mode too...suprized at how well the AI is setup for a single player mode

Painkiller (If you like run and gun.. this is great!)

You should be able to pick it up either on the cheap, being that they aren't that new.

trackmania sunrise. its a great racing game, because its totally unrealistic, and you can do lost of crazy stuff.

KOTOR 1 and/or 2, both are incredible games. Then there's always the GTA series, and as already mentioned Call of Duty is a fantastic series.

Two I can definately recommend giving the games you've listed: Far Cry and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Also, you didn't mention any Call of Duty, so I'd recommend COD 1 & 2, as well as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. RTS type games I'd recommend Warhammer 40,000 and Homeworld 2.
