Recommend me a good motherboard for 2600K?

Hi,

Biting the bullet and going SNB after my P55 mobo died. I want the following:

- SLI/Crossfire
- Overclockability
- Ivy Bridge compatibility
- Top notch build quality

Money's not too much of an object here -- I don't want to waste money, but I will pay for tangible features. That's why I will buy the 2600K (more cache, HT), but not the 2700K!

gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 for around $100 or less for a feature filled "budget board" that does everything you listed. even has USB 3.0

For me I really like the Asus P8Z68-V Pro (Gen3), the MSI Z68A GD65 (Gen3), and we have just released the Intel DZ68BC enthusiast board.

I really ought to try an Intel board. I think my next one will be Intel. Since I got an RMA approved for my P55 board, I probably won't get a P67/Z68 board now, but I'm definitely looking into that DX79SI if the 3930K is a beast OC'er.

I have ordered Asus P8Z68 V/Gen3 ,should get it tomorrow so let you know what I think of it.

Why oh why has Asus not released a Gen3 version of any ROG board other than the tiny GENE-Z. I want an Extreme-Z Gen3. 🙁

Oh well, x79 is around the corner, might as well wait.
