I need a antivirus program to keep my brother's files from infecting me when I view them over the network. And no I am not a leech, I download teh movies.
 
Well I just installed AVG and it's scaning my system. It looks fast and very through. But please, leave any recommendations here. 🙂

Anyways PC Cillin is the only free one i know of 😕

I use NAV but i paid for mine

I have a copy of norton from a pc purchase but I still use AVG. Norton is just too heavy for my diet.
 
Hmm my ban turned into a 4 week ban :|

Finally back now.

AVG let's me download emails infected with klez (I've received two of them so far) even though I have it scan emails. If I save the attachment, AVG will warn me the moment I click on the file though.
 
another vote for AVG here.

free is good. paying for software sucks. well, paying for ANYTHING sucks...everything should be free. oh, and that's my viewpoint, and what do I do for a living?...I'm a programmer.
 
😀 Avast pro trial version was the only virus program that not only found the pervasive Trojan:" Back Door NetDevil" :| but insolated it and now my system is back to normal from a variety of wierd stability issues🙂 Have not tried the Free home edition but will soon😎
