Recommend me a good flick

I just finished watching The Descent, The Island, and Closer and I enjoyed all three of them. I need some recommendations. I was told that Crash was supposed to be good. I like movies that make you think, and I do not like movies pre-1990. Any recent classics would be good. List off your favourites.

I've watched Blade 1 and 2, wasn't my cup of tea, Underworld 1-2 were great though. Never heard of Capote though.. I will check out Derailed and Jarhead. I know Jarhead is about the war, but it isn't a propoganda-type movie is it?

How can you just automatically not like all pre-90s movies?

I always suggest Memento in these type threads so there's that. Donnie Darko's cool. I rather liked The Jacket and The Machinist. Primer is a real thinker.

I didn't know there were any Classic Movies made after 1990. If you like movies that make you think, think about watching some movies made before 1990.
