normally i drink guinness/g. extra stout but i'm lookin to switch it up. please keep in mind this is Fargo, ND, so some of the brews that are relativily easy to find in your area, probably don't exsist here :(

only ones that i can think of off the top of my head, that will be easy to find here are;
Guinness
Guinness extra stout
Linekugals creamy dark

i know there are more out there, thats what you guys are for though :) thanks!

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Actually Samuel Smith has a couple good dark beers. Kilkenny is alright, Newcastle is really damn good....

Spaten Optimator kicked my ass when I had it at some german restaurant.

Young's Oatmeal Stout (you can stick a fork in this stuff)
Boddington's Pub Ale
Wexford Irish Creme Ale (not stout, but still heavy)
Young's Ramrod
Belhaven Wee Heavy Ale
Killian's Red
Unibroue Fin Du Monde (again, not dark but heavy and 9%!!)

Wow !

I would really like to try that Moose drool, anyone want to send me some via USPS ?

They'll ship it from a beer store in Oregon for $36/case + freight.... :)

There's a link on the website.

That is an incredible beer. About as black as they come and almost a 9% alcohol content. The only downside is that they are sold in four packs not six (at least here in Washinton).

Moose Drool rules! I also like the Blackstar micros. One of my favorites is a micro from Seattle (I think) called Reed Hook. But you gotta get the ESB: Extra Special Bitter (I think). But I doubt you'd be able to get that. Does the Twin Cities have any micro's?
