like the title says,

right now i have an antec 900

but in ± 6months im gonna build a new pc and i'd like;

1. fan in front, top and rear, that can be controlled via the motherboard, not low,med and high position i have to manually reach and set.

2. space for standard ATx mobo, high end videocard

3. slot for 1hd and 2 ssds, one cd|dvd player

4. cable management

5. silent preferably

6. budget ± 100$

thank you guys!

Almost nuff! You will still need to decide on white, black, titanium and window or no window. It truly is the top drawer case at the moment.

The R4 comes with an integrated fan controller (3-speed) which basically downvolts the stock 1000rpm 140mm fans to 7V or 5V. Comes with two fans by default (rear, front), I recommend installing the third fan on the front instead of the top to maintain positive air pressure and thus take in less dust.

Non-PWM fans can be controller via the motherboard, especially Asus boards are good for dynamic voltage control of chassis fans.

It down volts them?? I didn't know that, but guess it makes sense for silence.

That explains why my one of my fans on the h60 looks like its running slow. Thanks for this info, I shall now rewire it to the mobo instead of the controller for max cooling haha.

I love the P280. It's one of my favorite cases available right now. Some people gripe that it can't accommodate larger than 120mm fans, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.
