I am tired of reading all the stuff I usually do. I would really like to read something about self-fulfillment or bettering myself, or something that gives you ambiton, etc. I dont really need "self-help", but some of those books I have found interesting in the past.

Last book I read of this nature was Lance Armstrongs book..."Its not about the bike..."

Anything else similar out there?

Lust : The Seven Deadly Sins (New York Public Library Lectures in Humanities) (Hardcover)
Simon Blackburn is the author of the Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy
Anger : The Seven Deadly Sins (New York Public Library Lectures in Humanities) (Hardcover)

Another book from the series, but these two are my favorites out of the seven so far.

Now, if you want to be really sobered up about war, not as a soldier, not as an American, and not as a victim, read Waris a Force that Gives Us Meaning; that had to be one of the most depressing books I've read.

The Art of War. :)
Ha... Everyone should read that once. The world's first self-help book. ;)

See No Evil. Robert Baer. I think that's the author.
Great book. You should also read his other book "Sleeping With the Devil". That one is the real eye opener.

For "bettering yourself", how about being inspired by a fantasy book about conquering a kingdom? ;)
A Game of Thrones - George R.R. Martin
