Simulation still isn't great, but MVP Baseball 2004 is very playable overall. It's really the only PC baseball game remaining, not counting the management-only sims.
I agree re: MVP. But you should know that it is much more difficult to win (compared to last year's version) and you're gonna need to fiddle with the default sliders......or accept just about every ball hit in the outfield going to the wall and a ton of inside the park HRs.
Well, I picked up MVP Baseball. It's pretty awesome, but I do agree that balls hit to the outfield generally result in too many stand-up doubles and triples. But good pickup nonetheless.
