Recommend me a Didital Camcorder

ok, I'm dumb when it comes to the new camcorders today. Basically what I want is something EASY to record footage at the track when I go racing. I'd prefer optical zoom obviously but the main sticky point is I want it DIGITAL. I'd love to be able to plug it into my PC and just pull off the video files instead of having to capture the video. Any suggestions?

I guess I could use a digital one as long as it has enough megaflopsels.

I guess I should actually take a real typing class and learn to spell!

No thanks, searching for simple terms like "digital" and "camcorder" will yield me thousands of threads with recommendations nowhere near what I am looking for. Besides, I'd rather just add to the forum clutter and make you reply with witty remarks such as the above.

I don't care what format the camcorder is in, so long as I can just plug it in and pull off the video files i've captured.
