Recommend me a desktop DAC/headphone amp (up to $150)

I've been thinking about doing this for a while and I think I might actually see some improvement on going from my onboard sound to an external DAC. I'm looking for one that has a headphone amp and a line out for my speakers. I'll be hooking up a set of M-Audio AV30 speakers along with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones (to be possibly upgraded later). Any recommendations for this setup or would I not see any improvements from just a $150 investment?
