Recommend me a decent 5.8 Ghz cordless phone

Looking to replace my aging 900 Mhz phone. Trying to stay away from 2.4 for obvious reasons. Any suggestions?

Don't get a Sony. Get a Seimens. Seimens makes the best phones IMO. Get one with remote handsets.

keep the 900mhz phone! It seems like all modern phones suck and break easily. I miss my old 900mhz phone.

we have 2 of the panasonic 5.8s and they work great. talking caller id is annyoing though

Interference with my router and other 2.4 devices

I bought a panasonic 900 mhz digital phone on ebay. The 900 mhz spectrum is clear now that everyone else in on 2.4 and 5.8.

Yeah, I think I am just going to replace the battery in my Panasonic 900 Mhz and keep it. Its been a great phone

Wife and I use Uniden 5.8ghz phones. They seems to work great for us.

this one was free after rebate up until a few days ago @ staples.com (details were at FW)...I got mine yesterday, and the talking caller-id is pretty cool...
