Recommend me a CHAIR

Not a lot of talk about chairs here, but it's more important than a good monitor, comfortable mouse, responsive keyboard, etc.

I'm currently using a $100 leather chair from Staples and while it looks nice it's not very practical in terms of heat, especially during the summer. I basically have cloth over it to prevent excessive sweating when contacting leather. I'm looking for a good ergonomic chair that has a mesh back and preferably a mesh seat (or similar in effect). Don't have a budget per-se, just don't want to spend a fortune.

Here are a couple from IKEA, both are comfortable and have a mesh back, but I think the sitting cushion might still be too "sweat inducing", though having a cloth cushion would help.

$200 - http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00103102/
$90 - http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S39894447/

EDIT: found the Aeron chair at Amazon, $870 o_0 http://www.amazon.com/Aeron-Chair-F...&qid=1344200419&sr=1-71&keywords=office+chair

No pricing and I'd have to drive a good hour to nearest retailer to try it. Wonder how much these are/how good they are? They do have a mesh seat.

What do you recommend?

Chairs are really hard. We visited Ikea this saturday to actually look at them. And we didnt find any of them good to sit in.

And we are still looking. Right now we are settled on this one. It leaves much to desire design wise. But its really good to sit in:

So unless we find something better, that will be it.

We had aerons at my last job. Loved it. Planning to buy one during their black Friday sale (15%). They have a 12y all inclusive warranty so that helps with the price a bit.

A lot of people buy them used on eBay but I plan to get a new one.

You're right that a good chair is important but its also more personal than a keyboard or monitor since it does depend on your physical dimensions- the Aerons seat depth is not adjustable. The Aeron does comes in different sizes so you could get one which fits you. There are other manufacturers like Knoll who also make good chairs.
