Recommend me a 17in LCD.

Another good one is the NEC 1760NX. It, the Viewsonic and the Hitachi CML174 all use the same AU Optronics panel. They advertise different specs, but all look the same since they use the same LCD panel.

I agree. The only difference would be warranty and options.

I have the viewsonic. The only thing I could as for is MORE (Wish I would of gotten a 19inch version :Q ). And I don't have a problem with the lower colors.

Not really. There are different features and price too. The Viewsonic has the vertical tilt thing and the NEC doesn't. Newegg price on the Viewsonic is $499. The NEC is $399.

wait for dell to have another sale and pick up the planar px171m for $410 shipped. one of the best 17" period. all the specs you could dream of plus great adjustability (which is somehting you will use more than you think).
