I currently have a laptop w/ Intel i5-6300U. This is plenty of speed for me and it uses only 15 W. I'm looking for a newer model.
I do not need anything faster. The most I do is excel and youtube. If there is something that has the same speed an less power I'll prefer that. I like robust laptops that can take the abuse of airplane travel. I do not want a chromebook as I want to be able to have everything local and control my privacy.
Got any recommendations on chips and laptops?
Looks like the Ryzen 5 5500u is also 15 watts but is way more powerful. Are there any similarly powered chips that use less power?
