I keep getting annoying phone calls on my home phone. Usually 'out of area' calls once or twice a day. It's usually during the afternoon when nobody is home, but it's annoying when I'm home and I don't want to answer it. It just rings and rings... 😛
I need something that can screen calls and block/ignore a list of phone numbers. I'd prefer no ring at all if caller is on black list. There's 'screening and intercept' that's common, but that feature just forwards all calls to voicemail and lets you intercept the call during voicemail.
There are computer programs that can do it, but I don't want to have my computer on all day.
Can anybody recommend a good answer maching with the call screening/ignoring feature and not expensive? The phone company probably has a feature that will block it, but I don't want to pay monthly fees.
