My OCZ Rally 2 8GB just died on me. Looking for something fast, reliable, and around the same size. No smaller than 8GB.

Anyone got any recommendations? Have they changed much in the past year or so? I'd kind of assume so, but I have had a really hard time finding any info on newed models or anything. Perhaps my google skills are failing me? 😱

Well, although mine is now dead, it had a good run. Had it for about 2 years, which included going through the washer and dryer a few times. Can't speak for anyone else's experience, but mine has been satisfactory.

My uncle got the OCZ Diesel 16GB. He had it RMA 3 times because it came Read Only. Went to OCZ forum and found many threads with the same problem across all OCZ USB flash drives and they are RMAing left and right. Tried their utility to get it back to writeable mode but it didn't work. Someone posted a utility in chinese language and I was able to low level format the drive and now it's writeable. That is some crappy QA they got there.

My Diesel 16GB has been great for a while now. Probably just a bad batch that slipped through.
