I'm searching for a wireless ISP, wondering if someone here can recommend one for me to check out further. Brief description: We run a high availability data center for an in house app. We use a traditional DS3 and have a wireless ISP, both connections terminating into a cisco 7200 series router. When the primary land line fails, that router uses BGP to determine the failed link and fail the WAN IP address over so it is advertised over the wireless link.
We have experienced failures in the wireless portion of the link and the provider is not as reliable as previously thought. I'm trying to find wireless providers that would suit our needs. The wireless link is also 45 mbps and burstable to higher if needed. We run a line of sight antenna to a radio tower nearby on our own licensed FCC frequency. Im searching for suitable vendors and all I'm seeing in the last half hour of searching are 4G mobile hotspots, and residential wifi vendors. I inherited this setup and never had to search and provision one yet in my career. We are in the Boston area. Any recommendations would be appreciated... Thanks
