Hi folks:

I want to buy a cordless phone/answering machine that has two handsets. I need a unit that has a 2nd handset with charger that can be placed in a different room from the base unit.

I don't need lots of fancy features - something simple and reliable will work OK.

I've seen a Uniden unit in WalMart. It looks really cheap.

Does anyone have first hand experience with products currently on the market? Comments?

I haven't picked it up yet but the model that is at the top of my list is the Panasonic KX-TG2352W.

I like the spread spectrum feature. You can add another handset for a total of three. The price is around $90.

The main thing I don't like is that particular model only comes in white.
