Recommend an overclockable socket A!!

Its not worth it to spend too much on the MB for that cpu. The cpu will limit the overclock, not the motherboard.

I bought this MB for a friend and we were able to put a nice overlock on an Athlon mobile XP 2400+ (overclocked to 3200 speeds).

The classic Abit KT7A or KT7A-RAID mobo can, and did in my case, get the job done. I have one available if you're interested.

DFI, as mentioned above. Or Abit NF7-S v2 (not the NF7-S2)

The DFI considered good for reaching high FSB speeds in excess of 200mhz

The Abit considered best for high CPU OC's (FSB speeds generally tops out at 215-220 mhz with stock BIOS, modded BIOS can go higher).

NF7-S V2 Never had a problem with mine and 100% stable running 236fsb (maxed out my BH-6 @ 2.99v) with TicTac bios. My friend went through THREE DFI lanparty B boards before getting NF7-S and has never looked back.

NF7-S v2 here, no problems with stability, though my CPU holds it back. 🙁

Same here, the board can take ANYTHING you throw at it - mine is still going strong after 2 years of 24/7 F@H.
