For reasons I'd rather not get into, I'm stuck using a Vizio XWR100 Router. I'm not impressed with it's range or connection reliability on mobile devices, and would like to use a Wireless AP to increase the strength of the signal and hopefully improve reliability. This needs to be wirelessly connected too, I can't run ethernet for this particular setup. I tried looking online for known compatible APs, but had zero luck finding any information regarding what works best with a Vizio router.
Can someone make an educated AP recommendation for this Vizio Router?
I need something with...
- Strong Antennas
- Simultaneous 2.4Ghz/5Ghz Dual Band
- 802.11 a/b/g/n compatibility
The Airport Express did not work with the Vizio and ended up being returned.
So far I've looked at the high end Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, and Amped Wireless. Not sure what to do, or what to get... just want something that's compatible and reliable.
Again, I can't change the Router, and it must be run Wirelessly (no Ethernet connections). Advice would be greatly appreciated!
