Hi guys. My DLink DI-514 has been giving good service for nearly two years, but lately I have been getting irritated at it's pronounced tendency to simply forget firewall settings. Sometimes they go away on a reboot. Other times they just go away.

I'm looking for a replacement with good power, a flexible SPI firewall, and web-based admin. Was checking out the Linksys WRT54GL as well as the Zylos X550.

On the DLink I use an external Hawking blade antenna to improve connectivity with clients. Not sure whether I will need it with either of these units, but I'm still leaning toward reverse SMA connectors for the antennas just in case.

What I really want to know is whether these are reliable units, keep their programmed settings and rules, and put out good signals. Any other units I should look at? Willing to spend up to $100 or so I guess.

Thanks, I will take a look at that unit. Anyone else?

Edit: that looks like a good candidate for sure. Checked out the user guide and all the features I need seem to be there. Is it reliable with respect to maintaining settings?
