Basically I need to pick up my routers own signal in the basement with another device that can then send it up to my house's top floor where another pc is by cat 5 cable. Thanks.
 
I have used Smartbridges Indoor radios with good luck, but that is in an outdoor Rootenna box and a multiple mile link to our AP on a hill...they do have some issues though.
