Recommend a Wired Router

I made THIS thread last week and I think I have a good idea of the wireless router/APs that I need.

However, what wired router should I go for? Is there any reason to spring for Gigabit Ethernet? I may want to expand my network later.

If I were to set my budget for my wired router at no more than $200 what would people suggest?

Thanks,

There is No reason to buy Wire only Router, they cost as much or few $ more than Wireless.

If you need to save buy two of the Asus that was mentioned in your other post.

Otherwise this is a very good choice, Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833162134

Buying a Router because its switch is Giga is a mistake too instead get this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833156250

It is inexpensive and performs better than the Giga switches that are part of the Routers

procurve 1800 is a nice entry router you can rely on for gig-e transfer.

it was what we call the bottom of the barrel in the ISCSI world. wouldn't recommend it; but it will work. anything less = trouble.
