Recommend a window treatment for a large door window

Hey all,

Just moved to a new place that has a little balcony at the top of the steps (3rd floor). It seems like it traps a lot of heat in the hallway probably due to the sun. I would like to try to block the sun (privacy is not a concern at this level)

the glass is about 21x63in. Any suggestions for something solid that wont flap around?

Try some solar film first.
