I'm running W2K now, and the Voodoo just isn't cutting it. No true OpenGL support, no good drivers for W2K, no TV tuner for W2K, and this stupid attachment cable has got to go. So its time for an upgrade, and here's what I think would be good:
- video inputs so I can use my VCR as a tv tuner
- AGP
- 32 mb of RAM or better
- Good 2D quality
- Reasonable gaming. I'm not big on the games, but partly because the Voodoo sucks for them now. I won't need the fastest thing on the market, either
- Looking to spend 100 bucks or less.

My computer is a 300A@450 with 640 mb of ram and a 20" Trinitron monitor (hence this makes a good TV). Thanks for your input.

Back in the day, when I had that exact celery system, I ran it with an Asus V3400 Deluxe w/ video-in / out. Had my vcr running into it, worked like a charm. Check ebay or something for a card like that. Alternatively, my Asus V6800 Deluxe does the same job but probably costs a little more. V3400 was a TNT and V6800 was a GeForceDDR.

$100 on a card with video in and video out? I don't know about that...

The Radeon 64 VIVO card is a good choice.

I agree a Radeon 64 VIVO is a good choice. In fact I'll sell you mine for $100 shipped! I'm upgrading to a Radeon 8500.

Mine is the retail 64 DDR which is the better version of the card. It has excellent 2d and can play all the current games. It has a video input and output so you can use your VCR to both play and record if you wish.
