I need to carry a set of tools with me while travelling, but because I'm travelling, I need to make sure my tools are as light as multi-use as possible. I can't carry around a set of solid wrenches in different sizes, for example.

I've already got an excellent AAA-powered electric screwdriver with a set of tiny bits for small electronics projects.

What I need now is a setup for larger nuts and bolts.

- adjustable wrenches seem to suck because they lose their settings all the time and they're fatiguing to use because they don't ratchet
- a small 1/4" ratcheting handle with bits is great and not very fatiguing, but sometimes there's not enough vertical room for the bit if the working area is cramped. And sometimes you need a different set of deep socket bits.

Is there some kind of tool that offers maximum flexibility and ease of use while still being light and compact?

it's only $10. can't hurt to try :p
edit: don't expect it to do too much, but for little things i'm sure it will be handy.
