I am searching but could use some help if someone already knows of a TV that fits my bill.
Budget, less than 1k
50"-52"
1080p
USB
120Hz
Wireless and wired networking
Screen Mirroring

TIA

"Screen mirroring?"

Like you have a Samsung phone so you want a Samsung TV that will do their mirror trick?

Or do you just want that in general for any phone, and would be fine with the common solution of a Chromecast/AppleTV plugged in a HDMI port?

Screen mirror basically shows what ever is on your phone, on the TV.
For example, if I am looking at pictures on my phone, I can mirror them to the TV and see them there. What ever is shown on the phone screen shows up on the TV screen.

I know what it is oldsmoboat, but the problem is there isn't one "standard" for that yet. It is like saying "I want a computer with an OS on there." We need to know what OS- OSX, Windows, Linux, etc. It is not like USB or HDMI where one size fits all.

Apple phones have Airplay which only works with an AppleTV, Samsung has AllShare which works with their devices only, and then on the side Google has a Chromecast that can mirror apps that have that compatibility built in.

So basically what I am asking is:

-What is the device you want to mirror?

-If it is a Samsung device, do you have to have that functionality built in or are you willing to let something else like a Chomecast or a Samsung Blu Ray player do the job? Because if not basically your set of options is limited to more expensive Samsung tvs.

Can you not just use a Chromecast for the screen mirroring?

There was a 50" LED TV at Best Buy for $200 on Black Friday. They have gotten really cheap. I paid $500 for a 55" TV not long ago and I'm really happy with it.

My personal preference is a "non smart" TV and I just use a Chromecast. The Chromecasts have been on sale for about $20 at Amazon lately with free shipping.

Screen mirroring can be done with Chromecast on any phone. You need to download the app along with buying Chromecast. Chromecast was 22$ this past Black Friday.

EDIT.
Google is giving away a free HD movie to anyone who uses Chromecast and their casting app just once. The movie is X-Men

Edit.
Each iphone wanting to mirror needs the allcast app. I thought it worked like on android. Sorry.

I haven't used its screen mirroring yet, but I picked up a Roku stick a few weeks ago and its android app says that it can screen mirror.

Then the answer is any decent TV (like a Vizio) with an Appletv plugged into one HDMI port and a Chromecast plugged into another.
Work place translation: It can't be done. They won't go for AppleTV or Chromecast.

Works just fine at home from our Samsung phones to our Panasonic plasma.

Oh well.

Thanks all.

Well yeah if you can just say screw the iPhones than any recent Samsung TV can make it so the Chromecast is unneeded.

The issue is the iPhone, per usual Apple doesn't want to participate in standards. No way around that AppleTV until they maybe make their own lineup of TVs (and those probably won't mirror a Samsung phone).

Tech is fragmentation.

With Allcast app, you only need Chromecast but each person using an iPhone must have the Allcast app. Allcast is only in beta for ios so..

Why don't you just connect the phones to the TV directly via HDMI then?
I guess I could run cables down the wall.
