Recommend a sump pump with control box

I am looking to alarm our sump pump and would like to know what is good to buy. I would like to get a sump pump alarm that can be wired to our house alarm. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Look for a float switch like this:

You can then connect it to the alarm system. If it's a system that is supported by a separate company easiest bet is to ask for a new sensor to be put in, the cheapest one possible such as door contact or something, then just solder the float switch to the sensor. Everything will essentially work on 0/1 logic level so just the thing of finding where to connect to. Of course the alarm system might have aux connection points already so you can use that.

This reminds me I need to install my own float switch, it's only been like 2 years since it's sitting next to the sump pit. 😛
