recommend a software mp3 player

hey, i'm looking for a software mp3 player program. specifically i'm looking for one that has playlists, and when you close the program, it remembers the last song that was playing. so if you close while playing song 5, next time you open, it's set on song 5 to start.

are there any that do this? ones i've found only reopen playlist from song 1 always

really? i've got latest winamp. whenever i close program and restart, it plays from song 1, not song 8/whatever.

what version? any settings i'm not seeing?

try downloading 2.9... seems like nobody realy likes winamp 3.

Not good for CDs though.

don't know about others, but natively supports, "Resume Playback after restart" and "Start playing on startup"
