I love the price of the ipod shuffle, but I'm not too fond of the lack of an LCD.
Are there other vendors that have an LCD on their device? I need atleast 256MB of storage and it has to be able to play through my car's stereo.

iPod Shuffle with free iTunes software. It's too perfect for me to look elsewhere. My 1GB iPod Shuffle will be here next month. Happy birthday to me (next month).

Simply attach MuVo TX FM to any PC or notebook and drag-and-drop your files - no installation software needed!

It will hold 512MB worth! 200 at 2.56MB each...

The tuner on the MuVo N200 sounds PERFECT on the stations that it does latch onto, but it's only automatically tuning about half the stations that my car's radio gets. About the same as the performance of my home theater receiver with a cheap dipole antenna attached.

i was gonna get the 1gb shuffle, but ended up getting the 1gb muvo tx fm from jr.com.
the better battery life was the major reason i swayed from shuffle to muvo... then the little things like fm tuner, itunes (shuffle) vs no software necessary (muvo), etc came into play.

muvo or the sandisk. sony's new thing would be nice... if it wasn't going to cost even more than the shuffle. still not clear on whether it needs to use sonicstage or not too... that'd be shooting themselves in the foot, wrapping a rope around their neck, and tying it to the back of a 747 that's about to take flight.

Muvo definitely. I've had the cheapo Muvo 128mb (no lcd) for years, and I love it. I'd get a Muvo with more memory and an LCD in a heartbeat if I needed it. (Opted for the Creative Zen Touch 20gb instead so I could take all my music with me all the time.)

Muvo for sure. Why anyone would pay extra money for no lcd screen, worse sound quality and no fm tuner is beyond me.

Been looking for a flash mp3 player that can also double as a usb flash drive. Had been looking at the Ipod Shuffle, but I'll check into the 1gb Creative MuVo TX FM.

THanks for the suggestions
