Recommend a silent PSU and CPU cooler.

If you want the PSU inside the case along with the CPU, video adapters, nortbridge chipset, the I agree 100% (based solely on everything I have read) with peleejosh. That the Seasonic S12 430 watt is a great choice.

If you are willing to get a different case then try this case and PSU.

Using this PSU in this case it has been suggested (search for my handle in SPCR's forum and find what MikeC said) that the fan be removed from the PSU as it is not needed.

Can't get much quieter than a 500 watt PSU that is separated from the main system and has no fan.
