I just rented a Crown Vic and it was a very nice ride. I was expecting it to feel like a soft and mushy land yacht and it was actually pretty responsive. I'd own one.

He never said anything about cost, and you really think Buick doesn't get outdone in the luxury department by some of the cars we've already mentioned?
 
My retired Dad test drove this class of car back in 2006 when he bought his current car. He was most impressed with the Avalon and bought it. It has served him very well. I'd look for an Avalon. It most certainly is larger than the Camry. I don't personally like the driving position, but the car is definitely comfortable and even has reclining back seats.
