Recommend a Point and Shoot Camera Under $100!

Hey y'all...I might be going on spring break in a month and I don't want to lug around my expensive SLR camera (and have it get stolen/broken) so I was wondering what point and shoot/compact cameras y'all recommend for under $100?

So far two cameras I've heard good thing about:

Kodak DC3200
Olympus Stylus Epic

They don't have to have zoom or anything...but must be able to take good pics under various lighting conditions. Also it must fit into a pocket pretty easily.

THanks!!

-Ed 🙂

I have a Stylus Epic and love it. Only other reccomendation would be a Canonet QL17-GIII (old Canon Rangefinder from 70's.) You can find tons of them on ebay(just don't pay over $60 for one.) Best camera I've ever owned, including my SLR: built like a tank, yet fairly compact, great lens (35mm 1.7), all manual except for Shutter-Priority auto mode, and just plain cool. Check it out here: Linky

coolio...so far stylus epic has a few votes of confidence...any other votes of confidence or maybe another suggestion for a model?

You may want to consider the Kodak DC3200 for $80.

I know it's a digital camera but considering it's a reasonable 1.2 megapixels and only $80 from your local Circuit City with no rebate hassles, it's worth a shot.

dpreview.com
dcresource.com
