I've got a movie club that I goto, and tonight is my pick. Unfortunately it seems that blockbuster doesnt carry my first choice. any suggestions?

First choice was The Corporation (yeah, it's later than 2000 but none of the people there will have seen it, which was the reason for being made prior to 2000). Second was Battle Royale.

"The Machinist" just watched it last night and it was an odd and interesting movie staring Christian Bale (new batman). I was really amazed with how much weight he lost for the role compared to when he was in American Psycho, I'm talking Ethiopian skinny for the role.
