I'm going to have to disagree here.
Don't get me wrong. I'm addicted to Lost. Lost is like a drug to me. And from experience, the show can be enhanced in *certain ways*. Not that it needs enhancing, but whenever you can enhance something, even if its effin' brilliant, might as well take it past 11. 😛
HOWEVER... watching any of the seasons, while out for a weekend with pain pills and serious pain... probably not quite the show to watch.


I'm going to have to agree with the OPs own suggestion of Firefly.
Oh DAMMIT... just saw he wrote he already saw those on the list. Argh. Firefly would be perfect. Short, sweet, contained to one season. Very enjoyable, classic Whedon elements, yet light-hearted and Western-y (space-western). It's like... perfect. Too bad. 😉

I was finishing MGS4 while downing tylenoll-3 every few hours.

Oh, and Dead Like Me movie. It just came out, I'm rewatching it with commentary right now.
