Recommend a MiniDV Camera

I've been looking to buy the Canon ZR40 from buydig.com for $399.99, and i just want to make sure there arent any other MiniDV cameras that would be better for the same price. Any recommendations? Does anyone have the ZR40?

I went out and bought a JVC GR-DVL120U from Best Buy a little over a week ago. I paid $500 when I bought it, but ABC Warehouse has it on sale for $447 this week. I really love this camera except for one fact... Make sure you have enough lighting in your applications. One of my tapings didn't come out because I had no lighting whatsoever. I learned quickly that the "Night Alive" feature is not good for taping throwing a pumpkin off the high school bleachers with no light. When I went to tape my friend's concert last Friday, the poor lighting didn't help for the picture quality when I went to edit it yesterday. Other than that, I think the picture quality is amazing on this compared to a 8mm or a VHS-C.
