I just finished my system build (specs will follow) and I got hold of a retail G0 Q6600 at Microcenter for $200. Right now I'm just running it at stock speed with the stock cooler but would like to see how far I can overclock it.

Can you guys recommend a good HSF unit and thermal grease?

Also, what should I look out for with this CPU? What is the most effective way of overclocking it?

The tuniq comes with some really good thermal grease, doesn't it ? Performance wise it's better then the Thermalright ultra extreme if you ask me. And your PSU, is it a real power pro ?

The picture does show it comes with thermal grease. I can't speak to the quality, but I expect it's good quality stuff if it comes with this good quality heatsink.
