i'm using a blue orb on my gf3 ti500, but i think it's not fitting properly. when i took of the hs recently there was no thermal grease on the hs. except on the edges, where it looks like the chip is slightly raised. so i'm guessing the hs and chip isn't actually touching with most of the chip. i'm gonna try thermal tape or adhesive whatever i can get my hands on first, but i would like to get some recommendations for newer vid card coolers. preferably not to loud, cause i'm not overclocking. the stock fan broke which is why i started using the blue orb in the first place.

i suggest the zalman line of coolers. the passive one is a choice as you arent overclocking, ive heard ppl use it on overclocked cards though without any problems. it is a bit bulky and pricey at ~30. thermaltake has a ripoff of it with a smaller heatsink. ive heard the thermaltake line of coolers like the gf4 cooler and crystal orb are loud.
