Recommend a good used car for me

Currently looking into a new (used) car. My budget is probably in the $15000-$20000 range. I would like something sporty that is fun to drive. It MUST be a manual and have low miles (up to 50000 is fine). Hopefully something not too old so maybe 2003 or after. Of course, something reliable and easy/inexpensive to fix *if* something should break. I was told that the Subaru WRX STi was a nice choice, but I of course want more input than just one car.

Just to add, I am currently driving a 1996 5-speed BMW 328is and love it. It has been a great car for me, but just wanting to sell it before it turns into a heap (miles are getting up there).

02-05 Honda Civic Si - its really cheap now, it only comes in stick, and they're not that common on the road for uniqueness. Don't flame, its an awesome car, and cheap to maintain.

Anyone else have any ideas? Got one so far and I'm still looking at the Subaru even though the look isn't exactly what I like it looks like a decent choice.

s2000's with low miles can be had for around 16-20k
350z's with low miles for around 22k
Si's with good mileage for 15-17k
mini cooper S's for around ur price range (not sure exactly what price)
wrx's are in ur price range, but STi's are not really there. they are in mid 20's about

S2000 if you don't need more than 2 seats and don't need a trunk. That's a fun little car with amazing handling.
