Recommend a good UPS for me

I've been looking around at UPSs and haven't exactly found what I'm looking for...

I want a good-quality UPS that will last for years and have no issues. Something like 1000W would be plenty - it's just for my desktop, an LCD, and a couple peripherals. It doesn't need to run for that long, either.

I would like one with a good quality regulated output (pure sine wave, perhaps).

Any recommendations? This one has exactly the features I'd like but seems to be somewhat low-quality.

What information about the product conveys "low-quality"[/b]?

1. It's relatively inexpensive
2. Several Newegg reviewers describe theirs as going up in smoke
3. It produces a modified sine wave output

88% of the 120 Newegg reviews rate the unit "Excellent" or "Good".

Why would you want a pure Sine wave UPS for a computer?

A computer power supply does not need it.
They are expensive.
So, it will be wasted money.

Just get an APC UPS. They provide excellent warranty support for the US if you ever need it.
