recommend a good UNIX emulator & LATEX typesetter?

I like doing most of my coding in my room, but sometimes I'll go use the SUN machines at the lab. But, anyways...

My shareware version of Reflection X 9.0 just expired and I need a good UNIX emulator for win2k.

I also use PCTeX as my typesetting engine ( i think i said that right ? ) and unfortunately it costs like a few hundred dollars. is there a similar program but shareware that I can possibly use for like a month or so?

There's a product called Cygwin which emulates a unix environment in windows.
