recommend a good printer scanner copier

Can the gurus recommend a good all in one device? i have a wireless connection and a laptop, i will use the printer for mostly text printing and the scanner for home use.
Any hot deals or value for money suggestions welcome

Samsung has quite a few multifunction printers. One of the better ones are the 4016 series.

Lexmark makes some really good ones at cheaper prices, though the price of the ink cartridges will soon outstrip the cost of the machine. Some of their machines also include fax machines and auto-feed mechanisms if you plan on scanning a whole bunch at once.

Ugh, don't get Lexmark, their ink is WAY overpriced and I've had problems with their print quality.

My sister has this hp, it prints fast, is good quality, and we've had no problems with it.

Even with the overpriced ink for Lexmark, they still make a better buy (if you are a good deal hunter). A friend of mine picked one of the multifuntions up for $40... when it runs out of ink just buy another one, thats what I do with my free AR lexmark inkjets... 🙂

Just recently purchased a samsung SCX-4100 and it is great.

It is cheap to buy ($389.00 AU), has a proper paper cassette, not a gravity feed mechanism.

You can hook up through either USB or Parallel.

Scanning quality is very good.

The copier function works very well.

You don't get ADF, duplex printing or faxing capabilities, but for the price I'm hardly concerned.

You also don't get color printing, but you don't require it. Personally I'd purchase a seperate color printer like the Canon IP3000 to complement the samsung if color was required.

all inkjets have this problem...soon their ink costs exceed the printer price..but you can always get a refill.(although i prefer to buy genuine to get nice quality)
