Recommend a good, cheap firewall/router(emphasis on the firewall)

Greetings:

I'm looking for a good, cheap firewall/router for a friend. He's connected directly to the net with a cable connection and it feels unsettling esp. after finding upwards of 40 trojan horses on his C drive. anyways, can someone recommend a good, cheap hardware firewall?

I'm using a Linksys wireless router - though I'm connected to it with a cable. I use the wireless for my PS2 in the living room.

I think this thing does a pretty good job as a firewall. I went to a couple websites that test my computer for vulnerabilities to hacking, and it came thru with flying colors. When I did those tests, I only had Microsoft Anti-spyware Beta for XP running, and shut off zonealarm.

It's easy to configure, relatively inexpensive, and it works well. I guess a "real" router would be something from Cisco or something like that - but other than that I'd look at the Linksys. btw, I used to have a D-link and I prefer the Linksys.

D-link DI-604 is a good router/firewall: secure, cheap, fast, and small. Google for reviews, I remember it getting some good ones.
