Recommend a good book for web design...

So are there any good books that the people here would recommend on webdesign? Hopefully including CSS (Cascading Style Sheets--not CS:S) information. I know there is lots of info on the web, but I like having something I can hold and flip back and forth through (Especially since my monitor is a 17" one--it gets crowded quick).

Plus then I can read on the couch 🙂

Also, any good books on linux? I plan on using it this summer (when I get my laptop back) just need a good comprehensive intro-type book. Covering everything I guess, just not to great depth is what i'm trying to say.
