Recommend a gaming mouse

I'm thinking of buying Logitech G502 Proteus Core but the wheel cons bother me (it's too smooth and heavy). Can you guys recommend an alternative with extra buttons that are placed comfortably ? I'm mainly an FPS guy

I have the g502 and I'm not sure what you mean by the cons.

It's heavy but you have the option of having tactile vs smooth scrolling by clicking the top middle button on the mouse.

And what buttons are not placed comfortably on the g502? Can't suggest an alternative if we don't know what you're current problems are with a possible option.

I didn't say anywhere that G502's extra buttons are uncomfy. Quite the opposite.
I believe I already said - The wheel's smoothness and weight bothers me

You can try the Steelcase Rival 500, it is my current favorite. I was really surprised when i tried it out, liked it enough to make it my main mouse instantly. Button placements for me is near perfect, made for larger hands, on the lighter side for fast movements, responsive. I dislike the lack of on-board profiles, but the pluses take it.
