Recommend a decent powered treadmill?

Looking for a treadmill. My only experience with them has been at the gym, but wanting something for the home. I've used a Precor C956, so that's my baseline. I see it sells for about 5-6k so it's out of my league. Can anyone recommend something 1k range that is good quality?

Will be walking/light jogging only. Universal heart monitor a plus but not necessary.

 

Anything by Precor should suit you. They make great products, even their lower-class stuff.

Why not just walk/run outside? Roads are free, last time I checked.
