Recommend a decent camera?

Can anyone recommend a decent point and shoot digital camera for around $100. Would prefer one that uses AA batteries (since I have a rechargeable set). I've returned my last kodak easy share one because the delay between taking pictures were unbearable.

If you prefer AA batteries then stick with the A series of Canon.

What do you consider unbearable? 2 seconds? 1 second?

Nikon L11 is a great sub $100 camera. I bought one and then another for my sister.
