Recommend a computer chair?

I've been looking at some chairs lately since my old one is in terrible condition. Problem is, I cant find anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and would be at least decent at the same time.. I don't like leather. Mesh or fabric is what I prefer.

we have the second one at school in the admin offices, they are nice without the head rests but cost about the same price as listed there

The AK design Octane is a decent chair for the money (I have one myself). Very comfortable, and the roller-blade wheels are a nice addiction if this will be on carpet at all. Pretty good for $135

Should have been around some of the hot deal websites during X-Mas shopping, Office Depot had some great, expensive chairs going for as much as $200 off retail price after multi-coupon application. Got me 3 in fact, 2 were gifts.

You get what you pay for. I used to by cheap chairs every couple years because they break (im not fat either, 6' & 190#). Then i got my Aeron (herman miller) almost 6 years ago. It has already paid for itself in "cheap chairs."

you should just go to office depot or staples and sit in a bunch of chairs. prices and fancy looks aside, you simply can't choose a chair unless you sit in it and test it out. i ended up going with a task chair like this one. it was cheaper and didn't look really fancy but nothing else was as comfortable and this chair just seemed to fit my body well.

I also have that chair. It is very nice and comfy.
